ROBERTSDALE, Ala. – Baldwin County’s sales prices continue to increase, though the demand in the Resort area of the county sees a slight dip. Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reports a year-over-year increase in the Average Sales Price in July 2021 for both Resort and Traditional Residential areas. July’s average sales price for the Resort area increased to $563,534, compared to $464,639 in 2020. Additionally, July’s average sales price for Traditional Residential increased to $342,206, compared to $286,718 in 2020.
The Resort Area of Baldwin County saw a total of 240 properties sold last month, compared to 308 in July 2020 – a 22.1% decrease. But even with the increased sales prices, listings moved off the market at a rapid pace, spending an average of just 26 days in active status.
For Traditional Residential properties in Baldwin County, a total of 604 sold last month, compared to 545 in July 2020. Listings in this area also flew off the market. Traditional Residential matched Resort with an average of 26 days on market, compared to 66 days in July 2020.
